Each year, Meat Free Week challenges participants to give up meat for seven days, encourage healthy plant-based living, build positive food habits and raise funds for a great cause! This year Meat Free Week runs from 23–29 September 2019.
Ready to live more sustainably and embrace a plant-based diet? Keen to help your kids form positive and healthy food habits? Here’s how to participate in this year’s Meat Free Week challenge:
1. Sign up and raise funds for a great cause
It will take a minute to sign up to create your fundraiser page. Click here to do so. You can raise funds for a number of organisations including Bowel Cancer Australia and World Animal Protection. If you want to take the challenge but prefer not to raise money, you also have the option of donating directly to the foundation or the other partner organisations.
2. Share with your networks
Share your unique fundraiser page with your social networks and encourage them to support your #MeatFreeWeek attempt to improve your fundraising efforts.
3. Plan ahead
Nervous about cooking vegan and vegetarian dishes? The team at Meat Free Week have compiled some delicious meat-free recipes and other resources to help you successfully complete the meat free challenge.
