Fashion Revolution USA Roundtable Discussion NYC | Tuesday April 23

$15As part of Fashion Revolution Week 2019, the USA team are organizing an impactful and solutions-based roundtable discussion on Tuesday April 23, 2019 at 6:30pm at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge.
The themes that will be explored: Human Rights, Environment and Governance in the fashion industry.
Speakers/Roundtable Discussion Hosts:
Elizabeth L. Cline – New York-based journalist and author of “Overdressed: The Shockingly High Cost of Cheap Fashion”.
Aaron Halegua – Human Rights Lawyer with expertise in labor rights, human trafficking, and access to justice in the United States, China, and internationally.
Eszter Csicsai – Senior Manager, Reuse & Donations at NYC Department of Sanitation (DSNY)
Mark Anner – Associate Professor of Labor and Employment Relations, and Political Science, The Pennsylvania State University
Each speaker will complete a 15 minute presentation which will be followed by 20 minute round table discussions with attendees and other speakers.
This Fashion Revolution USA Roundtable Discussion will take place on the sixth anniversary of the Rana Plaza factory collapse and marks a time for reflection, action, and change within and across the fashion industry.
