AFC Curated Pop-Up | Melbourne Fashion Week (MFW) 2018

The Australian Fashion Council (AFC) are on a mission to strengthen our local fashion industry and share the best of Australian fashion and this time they’re popping up at the Swanston Hall in the iconic Melbourne Town Hall at the heart Melbourne Fashion Week 2018.
The AFC Curated Store is a free retail event that brings together 19 Australian fashion labels from across the country, under the one roof for eight days in September, coinciding with MFW 2018 festivities and making it their largest event to date. This is a part of their unique program to support emerging local labels through direct industry mentoring, business development workshops and innovative retail experiences.
The space will be transformed by local creatives Architecture Architecture and lighting designer Paul Lim of Additive. The event will kick off with the launch day on August 31st alongside Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out (VAEFNO).
The curated collection of Australian labels that will be present: A.BCH, Allora, Autark, Avila, Gehrich, Gloria Dulcie, Guerrilla Theatre Brand, Harlow, IVY NIU, Jude, Kholo, MAUDE Studio, Millicent Elizabeth, MNDATORY, Oneiric, Rbcca kstr, Remuse Designs, Salty Fox and Vincent Li.
