Written by Jennifer Nini
Perth plays host to the “Socially Conscious Showcase”, a five-day eco fashion, beauty and lifestyle event with the aim of connecting Perth buyers and shoppers to a curated selection of ethical brands dedicated to making a positive impact.

Event Details

Where: Little Space Freo, Unit 4, J Shed, 3 Fleet Street Fremantle.

When: Friday 14th and Saturday 15th July 9am-3pm (public opening)

The event begins with three days of wholesale showings to retail outlets (by appointment only), and ends with two days of retail shopping courtesy of their pop-up store. Event organisers The Requisite, a socially conscious e-hub, and creative agency Akyoda, are on a mission to raise awareness for brands that are doing good and make them more accessible to shoppers.

There will be brands specialising in sustainable fashion, cosmetics, jewellery and skincare and all share ethical and sustainable values. They include: sustainable fine jewellery brand Linda Tahija Jewellery, women’s surfwear brand Salt Gypsy, ethical hat company Will & Bear, and Australian ethical jeans brand Outland Denim just to name a few.
