Po-Zu Piñatex™ Ethical Sandals Giveaway ($200 Value)
Written by Jennifer Nini

To celebrate my 35th birthday, I’m throwing an eco-fabulous giveaway just for you.

Yup that’s just the kind of woman I am – sharing my birthday love with all of you.

To mark this super special occasion, we partnered with award-winning sustainable shoe company Po-Zu  to give one lucky reader a chance to win a stylish pair of ‘Wanda’ Piñatex™ open toe strappy wedge sandals worth approximately $200. The winner will have the opportunity to choose their preferred colour: silver or gold.

Made from Piñatex pineapple fibre leather, cork and natural latex these modern strappy sandals are designed for comfort and feature a buckled back strap for greater support. Perfect to wear this summer, dressed up or dressed down. Ideal for weekends away, tropical holidays or even for jazzing up an old outfit.

Why we love Po-Zu

This London-based ethical shoe brand launched in 2006, and is currently ranked as the UK’s number one ethical shoe brand by The Ethical Company Organisation.

We adore the fact that Po-Zu gives three percent of sales income to environmental charities: The Resurgence Trust, Earth Community Trust and Pesticide Action Network UK.

In 2016, Po-Zu also launched the Better Shoes Foundation to share knowledge about sustainable practices within the footwear industry. The brand also innovated ground breaking concepts such as glue-less shoe constructions and edible shoe cream.

Po-Zu’s mission is “to provide feet with unique respite, and to halt the damage that modern footwear manufacturing often causes to people and planet”. We’re totally on board with this given our own triple bottom line mission.

So we are super proud to host this giveaway and work with this remarkable and innovative sustainable shoe brand. Plus it’s no surprise we have major girl crush on fair-trade fashion pioneer Safia Minney who has recently been appointed Po-Zu’s Managing Director.

But enough about all of that, here are the details on how you can enter to win this gorgeous pair of shoes.

To win a pair of ethical sandals, here’s what you need to do:

Just complete the form below and you’ll be in the running to win.

You’ll also get two bonus entries for each friend referred, so the more you share with your social network, the more chances you have of winning!

Good luck lovelies!

xx Jen

  • I’ve been curious about this company. I wanted to see more of a selection, because I think they’re a fairly new company aren’t they? I am thrilled to see more companies creating eco friendly footwear that you want to wear.

    • It is exciting this brand. Po-Zu isn’t a new company, it’s been around longer than EWP. I launched it in 2010 and Po-Zu launched in 2006. However Pinatex the company creating the revolutionary material that is pineapple leather is fairly new. From my memory, it was 3 years of R&D before it was finally released on to the market last year or the year before. As it’s only fairly new, only the most innovative and forward-thinking companies are embracing the material. But I expect to see it more and more particularly with brands that market themselves as ‘vegan fashion’.

  • Happy Birthday!!! Congratulations on all of the features. I can speak from experience that you have a wonderful way of inspiring people to become more Eco-aware. These sandals are gorgeous, this is a new company to me so thank you for the ‘find’ and chance.

    • Thanks so much Raine! So lovely to hear those words because to me the community is what counts and being a part of it is what drives me forward 🙂 So happy to connect you with Po-Zu too. Seriously stylish shoe business 🙂
