The Great Beyond creates stylish bamboo clothing for the confident, fashion forward woman.

The Australian sustainable fashion label is based in Brisbane and creates classic styles that can be included into all wardrobes. The brand is known for its luxury fabrics and staple pieces that will be 'in' no matter the season or year.

The label aims to combine beautiful clothing and environmental awareness together in harmony, hoping to promote sustainable textiles and responsible business practices. The Great Beyond was cofounded by designer Nicolas Azar and brand manager Aicha Robertson. Together the pair work together to produce pieces that prove sustainability and fashionable clothing can be combined to create something beautiful.

The Australian eco brand aims to be completely transparent and honest about where their clothing is manufactured and the methods used in production. The brand believes in long term relationships, partnering with a few manufacturers since starting up and are completely open about suppliers and producers they work with.

The brand sources its sustainable bamboo fabric from Wujiang Tuoxin Fabric in China. For hundreds of years Asia has utilized bamboo in many ways including cooking, construction, textiles and medicine. Bamboo fabric is chosen to be used for its many environmental benefits and particular features. It’s soft, durable and comfortable to wear but also 100% biodegradable, breathable and thermo-regulating, moisture wicking, easy to take care of, kind to sensitive skin and the list goes on. Garments are made up of a blend consisting of 95% bamboo and 5% spandex to ensure all pieces are comfortable.

The Great Beyond began with their launch collection ‘The Classics Collection’. The collection features 12 designs including dresses, crop tops and t-shirts available in the colours white, black, grey and blue.

All items are trans-seasonal so you can wear them whenever you wish. They are designed for longevity and never disposability.

The brand has now introduced their newest collection ‘CASSIOPEIA’. The CASSIOPEIA sustainable collection is inspired by “the clouds & skies that shelter the earth from the galaxies”.
